Kathy Cornelius

Notes: During her rookie season Kathy Cornelius won her only career major in an 18-hole playoff against amateur Barbara McIntire.

Course: La Grange Country Club (ILL)
Notes: Three shots back entering the final round Pat Bradley fired a final 6 under 66 to win by one shot over Beth Daniel.

Meg Mallon
Born: Natick, Massachusetts
U.S. Women's Open Victory: 1991 & 2004
Course: 1991 - Colonial Country Club (TX), 2004 - Orchards Golf Club (MA)
Notes: In 1991 Meg Mallon overcame a three-shot deficit to Pat Bradley with 10 holes remaining to win. At the 2004 U.S. Women's Open and playing in her home state Mallon fired a stellar final round 6 under 65 to finish two shots in front of runner-up Annika Sorenstam.

Patty Sheehan

Course: 1992 - Oakmont Country Club (PA), 1994 - Indianwood Golf and Country Club (MI)
Notes: In 1992 Patty Sheehan finished both rounds three and four tied with Juli Inkster sending play to an 18-hole playoff that Sheehan won by two shots. At the 1994 U.S. Women's Open Sheehan bested Tammie Green by one shot. The separation came thanks to a birdie by Sheehan on the 16th hole.
