About Play Golf New England Founder Sam Dostaler

Golf is my passion and Play Golf New England is the result of that passion. I have worked in golf for the majority of my professional life. First as a member of the bag staff at the The Country Club in Farmington, Connecticut and later at Eastward Ho! in Massachusetts. After college, I worked as the Managing Editor for AmateurGolf.com and currently I work as the Director of Communications for the Connecticut State Golf Association. 

 

Golf has been one of the largest driving forces in my life. It is the foundation of almost everything I do. Through my work in golf and travels throughout New England I have seen first hand how unique and special golf in the region is. As a result, the goal of Play Golf New England is to share the stories about the people, courses, and history of the region.
